The philanthropic mission of Chemo Noir is to host and inspire wine-centric and lifestyle events that raise money to provide financial support to the families, friends and fighters in their battle with Cancer.

This 1 mile run & tasting event is the classiest 1 Mile fun run event for an incredible local cause!  The run/walk will begin near the Jacksonville Beach Pier on a course that will be ½ mile out and ½ mile back.  The ½ mile turn will be dedicated to one of the very first Chemo Noir supporters and friends, Tara Newton Richardson, and will be a cheering section and water station known as Tara’s Turn.

At the finish line we will recognize our partners, sponsors and supporters. At the conclusion of the 1 Mile Run there will be a festive tasting event in the Casa Marina courtyard.

RACE DAY AGENDA:
10:00 am: race check ins
11:00 am: race begins on the beach
11:30 am – 2 pm: tasting event at Casa

Our friends at 3 Palms Grille will be hosting us again, and it will be a night of incredible memories all supporting our Chemo Noir mission to help Cancer fighters fight. Tickets are $100/person and we are so excited to cheers you there!

11:30a - 1 Mile run/walk will commence

12-2p - TASTING:  Casa Marina, exclusively for registered 1 Mile Chemo Noir participants – a FREE wine tasting (thank you Royal Palm and KC EVOLVE), FREE local brew sampling (thank you Southern Swells and Fishweir Brewing), live music, Chemo Noir merchandise, raffles and a full cash bar available. We will have kid friendly tastings and activities as well. Our tasting event is presented by Royal Palm Wine & Tapas.

Event Details & How It Works:

1. Register for the 1 Mile (immediately below) and please help us continue to fulfill our mission (thank you!) - click here to register.

2. On JUNE 20th – run or walk 1 mile

3. On JUNE 20th – document your 1 Mile via a selfie, photo, video and post to your INSTAGRAM (or email it to us to post to our Instagram: nicole@chemonoir.com) and tag #chemonoir #cheersagainstcancer (extra love for those wearing Chemo Noir gear)

4. If, and only if, you follow steps #1-3 then you will receive the limited edition CHEMO NOIR wine stopper, and we will include (at random) swag giveaway announcements all day on June 20th.

5. On JUNE 20th at 5p EST – grab a stem and join us for a VIRTUAL HAPPY HOUR event (more details will be sent to all registered participants)

This is our annual GALA fundraising event that will include wine tastings, drinks, heavy hor d'oeuvres, music, dancing, a silent auction, a raffle and great times to support our mission. Attire is cocktail. Don't miss it, and help us continue to have impact!
